The old tram from Adelaide to Glenelg. This was run from the 1930s until 2007 when replaced by a more modern version. This was affectionally known as "the old rattler" and now this has a limited outing at weekends for the benefit of the tourists.
Glenelg Jetty - a very popular area to watch the sun going down.
Life Guard Tower at Glenelg. Keeping a watchful eye on the many locals and tourists using the beach, especially at weekends.
A view of Glenelg from the jetty
The Hindmarsh Monument at Glenelg is dedicated to the early settlers of South Australia.
The beach at Glenelg is one of the many surrounding Adelaide and is a favourite with locals as well as tourists. There is a vibrant cafe and restaurant culture in Glenelg.
Enjoying people watching at Glenelg with a schooner of pure blonde - about 1/2 a pint.
Our friends Graham & Jan have a beautiful Blue Heeler called Bluey. Blue Heelers are bred as working cattle dogs but Bluey is a family pet and a real souk!
