We've arrived at our stopover

Arrived at Kuala Lumpur International airport.  A good place for duty-free shopping if that's your thing. Then catch the Arrow Train to immigration and baggage reclaim.

KLIA is about 70km outside of the city so you need to either take a taxi or the KLIA Ekspres if you want to go into the city. The train runs every 15 minutes and reaches speeds of 160kmp so covers the distance in just 28 minutes. There is also the choice of an airport bus.

The Petronas Towers are the tallests Towers in the world and can be seen from many hotels around the city, including ours. Marvelous views of the city and surrounds can be seen from the bridge joining the two towers, which is 44 floors up and reached in a matter of seconds in their high-speed lifts which may make your ears pop!
